Presented, live, by his daughter Vicky Wright, and accompanied by amazing video footage, this is a complete history of Billy Wright's astonishing life in football. From his early rejection by his beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers, to his rise to glory and fame, which saw him being made not only Captain of Wolves, but Captain of England, an honour he held with the most incredible pride.
A true legend of the game, admired and respected by everyone that knew him, he became the first man in the world ever to attain 100 caps for his country. His amazing journey, including of course his fairytale romance and marriage to his beloved Joy, one of the world famous Beverley Sisters, is totally captivating. They were the original Posh n Becks and this is the first time story has ever been told so personally before.

Vicky, Billy and Joy's eldest daughter, brings her own, obviously extremely personal, take to this special evening by sharing her own firsthand experiences of growing up in this unique family, including private personal footage of Billy at home and at play. She will be talking about his historic matches, his losses and victories, and there are powerful contributions from other legends of the game. Tom Finney , Stanley Matthews , Bobby Charlton, Ron Flowers, , Kevin Keegan, David Beckham and many more.
In this celebration of her father's life, Vicky does not shy away from the more difficult and challenging times that her mother and father had to face together. This is a rare insight into the life and career of a sporting legend who was also a private family man adored by his children and grandchildren.
